{NAVI will meet FURIA in the opening stage of the Esports World Cup for CS2}
Esports World Cup organizers have unveiled the first pair of teams for the opening stage of the tournament. A total of 14 teams will play one match each, with the winners advancing to the playoffs. The losing seven teams will advance to the Play-in grid, where they will meet the last JiJieHao team to determine the last playoff participant.
The first matches of the tournament will feature MOUZ vs Sashi, Spirit vs MIBR, NAVI vs FURIA, Virtus.Pro vs Complexity, Vitality vs M80, FaZe vs FlyQuest and G2 vs TheMongolz.
Esports World Cup kicks off on July 17 and will run until July 21 in Riyadh. The tournament will feature 15 teams competing for a prize pool of 1,000,000 dollars. Each of the teams will make every effort to show the best result and compete for the title of champion.In addition to the cash prize, the teams will also compete for club points.
